Building updates and outages

Maintenance work is required for elevator cars 1, 3 and 5 in the main elevator bank in the Senator Burns building.

Work will be completed one car at a time to reduce the impact on students and employees using the elevators, and elevators will be usable between work.

Please take a look at the schedule below.

Please consider using the stairs if you can, and don’t forget there are two additional elevators - one in the NH wing and one in the NJ wing - that go up to the fourth floor.

Elevator #15 John Ware passenger elevator is offline and repairs are needed.

Please use the stairwell in the interim or the Freight Elevator.

Expected date of return to service: Friday, May 10 (April 17: Parts on Order, Bulk of parts have arrived, awaiting for remainder of parts)

 

Elevator #2 in the Senator Burns Building - NN is currently out of order. 

Please use adjacent elevators in NN.

Expected date of return to service: Device is offline due to planned modernization program.  ETA is June 10

Elevator #8 in the Senator Burns Building - NK is currently out of order. Repairs required.  

Expected date of return to service: Friday, May 10 (Updated April 17: Parts On Order)

Elevator #7 in the Senator Burns Building - NJ is currently out of order. Repairs required.  Please use adjacent elevators in NN.

Expected date of return to service: Friday, May 10 (Updated April 17: Parts On Order, Awaiting update from vendor)

Elevator #48 in Johnson Cobbe is currently out of order — repairs are required.

Expected date of return to service: Friday, May 10 (Updated April 17: Parts on order, Vendor booked to repair)

Elevator #36 in East Hall is currently out of order — repairs are required.

Please use adjacent elevator.

Expected date of return to service: Friday, May 10 (Updated April 10: Parts on order, awaiting arrival of parts)
