Building updates and outages

We are currently experiencing intermittent issues with the Archibus system. The SAIT Archibus admin team is working closely with Archibus System Support to address the situation. In the meantime, please email the FM helpline with any new work requests or to follow up on previously submitted requests. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Elevator Modernization in NN is in full swing.  Elevator Car #2 & #5 are offline currently.

Elevator #8 in NK Wing is currently out of order. Repairs required.  Please use adjacent elevators in NN.

Expected date of return to service: Friday, June 28 (Updated Aug 2: Parts On Order)

Elevator #44 in the Begin Tower is currently out of order. Repairs required.  Please use adjacent elevators.

Expected date of return to service: Friday, June 28 (Updated June 3: Parts On Order, awaiting further troubleshooting)

Elevator #36 in East Hall is currently out of order — repairs are required.

Please use adjacent elevator.

Expected date of return to service: Friday, June 21 (Updated June 3: Awaiting for parts to arrive to begin work)

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
