Working internationally can be both challenging and one of the greatest experiences of your life. SAIT works primarily with countries looking to develop their oil and gas resources. You should have experience travelling or teaching abroad, a valid passport, an innovative mindset and a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to unexpected and changing conditions.
You provide the expertise, we'll take care of the rest
We look for people who are great in their jobs and we provide the support that will get you ready to take your place at the front of the class. While teaching experience is an asset, many SAIT instructors come direct from the offices, labs, plants and job sites of the very industries we serve. Our international instructors have minimum 5 years real-world experience.

Contracts for subject matter experts are typically 90 to 100 hours and provide you with flexibility to balance other obligations. Your expertise may be valuable in a variety of ways, from providing technical expertise to assisting with curriculum development and thought leadership.
