Entrance awards are designated for students beginning a new program in the upcoming semester.
In some instances, they are program-specific; in others, students in all programs may apply.
You must be registered for your classes before completing all the application sections.

Criteria:
For recent high school graduates from Calgary and surrounding area who demonstrate financial need and an interest in continuing their education at SAIT (apprenticeship not eligible). They must outline their community involvement, career planning, success in high school, and must not have any previous post-secondary education.
To qualify for renewal of award, recipients must be in good academic standing, complete Lamb Learner Success Centre requirements and continue to demonstrate eligibility under the criteria outlined above.

This award works to remove financial barriers for racialized students. The successful candidate will be a student entering their program who demonstrates financial need, community involvement and exhibits academic achievement from high school. The student must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and identifies as black. Preference will be given to a candidate who is pursuing post-secondary education for the first time (does not have a previous credential) and/or a student with a documented disability.
