How to Register for Recreation

Please note, you cannot create multiple SAIT IDs and it will delay your registration if multiple IDs are created for the same person.  

New to SAIT?

You need a SAIT ID number to register — get a SAIT ID.

Not sure if you already have a SAIT ID?

If you’ve ever applied to SAIT or taken a summer camp, culinary class or Continuing Education course you may already have a SAIT ID. Please note, you cannot create multiple SAIT IDs and it will delay your registration if multiple IDs are created for the same person. We can help you recover your SAIT ID number so you can proceed with your registration.

Step-by-step registration instructions

To register in children and youth programs, and continuing education, distance education and recreation classes complete the steps listed below.

Once you have your SAIT ID, you can register. You’ll be using mySAIT for registration.

  1. Choose register for classes
  2. Log in with your SAIT ID.
  3. Select a term open for registration.
  • non-credit: courses with 0 credits, recreation and culinary classes, and children and youth programs
  • summer: July to August
  • fall: September to December
  • winter: January to April
  • spring: May to June
  1. Browse our offerings to find the course you want to take. Search by category or keyword to find the course that's right for you, adult programs or youth programs and add it to your summary. If you’d like to register for multiple courses, add them to your summary now.
  2. Choose submit in the summary.
  3. Go to account summary and pay now to review your account balance.
  4. Choose pay now.
  5. On the landing screen, choose make payment, and advance to the account payment
  6. Choose to pay the current account balance and
  7. Verify your payment amount and choose OK.
  8. Choose your method of payment — Visa or MasterCard.
  9. Enter your credit card number and choose continue.
  10. Enter your account information and choose continue.
  11. Review your confirmation details and choose submit payment.

You will receive a confirmation of payment via email. You can find your complete payment history in your account summary on mySAIT. 

Log into your mySAIT account and check your schedule. Schedule Details will outline your registration information.

Cancellations and Refunds

If you decided to cancel your registration, a minimum administrative fee of $50 will apply, plus any applicable services costs will be retained from the course fee. SAIT recreation reserves the right t cancel a program due to low registration. In such instances, registrants will be refunded in full to the original form of payment. Registrants withdrawing due to injury or illness must supply appropriate documentation and a request for cancellation in writing to the Office of the Registrar prior to the first session.
