Update: Thursday, April 1
If you’re a new student attending classes on campus during the Spring 2021 semester in a blended program, your SAIT ID card (eCard) will be pre-printed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on campus, eCards will only be available for pick-up from your instructor during your first face-to-face lab. Students will receive an email from SAIT with the information on how to submit a photo.
Continuing students who have not received an eCARD can visit campus on Wednesdays (April 7, April 21, April 28, May 5 or May 12) any time between 9 am and 4 pm to pick up their SAIT eCard. Come to AA211 in Heritage Hall. Learn more about what’s required when visiting campus during COVID-19.
You only need to submit your picture if you will be on campus in a blended program and have never had a SAIT ID card. If you have an eCard from a previous semester or program, there is no need to submit a photo. Your old ID is still valid.
The SAIT eCard is your official SAIT identification (ID) card and gives you access to facilities across campus including:
With your eCard, you are able to load funds onto it so you can eat and shop on campus at various locations and access printing on campus.
*Subject to change. Refer to the fee table to see what is included with your program tuition fees.
All current students qualify for a SAIT eCard and can continue to use it as long as they are registered students. Returning SAIT students who already have a student ID eCard do not require to get a new one and can continue to use their eCard. Your eCard is non-transferable and you may only use it for the services offered. Your eCard will be subject to forfeiture if presented by anyone else.
eCards can be issued for guests as a non-photo eCommerce card that can be used at participating merchants on campus. Guest eCards are available from the Phil Station located across from the SAIT Bookstore. A minimum of $5 is required for the initial load onto the eCard.
Only your legal first and last name can be printed on your eCard, which must match your government-issued photo ID. No nicknames are allowed.
Getting your eCard
Submit your photo online and we will pre-print your SAIT ID card before you arrive on campus. All eligible students will receive an email from Transact Online Photo Submission with a link and instructions.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions on campus, there will be a specific procedure for card pick up. When possible pre-printed ID cards will be picked up by schools and handed out to students by their instructors. If this is not possible and an ID card has not been pre-printed you can attend campus on the dates noted within our updates above to collect an ID card.
Any students who are not in a blended program and do not need to come on campus do not require an ID card at this time.
