SAIT offers the following services to all students. These services may be especially useful to you as a current distance learner or soon-to-be-graduate.

International Centre

If you live outside of Canada and are looking for admissions assistance, advising and more, contact SAIT's International Centre.

Lamb Learner Success Centre

Be proactive about your success and enhance your learning, studying and test-taking with support from an academic coach. You can book a one-on-one appointment with an academic coach to take place over Skype.

Struggling with a writing assignment and need guidance? Email Tutoring Services at writing.help@sait.ca with your questions and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.

You can contact Financial Advising for help with money management and financial aid.

Ask your employer about the Canada Alberta Job Grant — an employer-driven training program where employers and government share the cost of training new and existing employees to increase their knowledge and skills to meet the needs of Alberta's changing economy.

Accessibility Services provides support — accommodations, equipment loans, funding applications — for students with disabilities within the SAIT community.

Reg Erhardt Library

Access e-books, streaming videos, online articles and more through the library. You are also eligible to borrow most library materials — books and videos can be mailed to you free of charge. 

Student Development and Counselling

You have free access to the following online resources:

  • Therapist Assisted Online (TAO) Self-Help is an interactive platform to help you through everyday life challenges with stress, anxiety, depression, relationships and communication. Access resources anytime, anywhere from your phone, tablet or desktop.
  • Need to talk? 7 Cups of Tea is an on-demand, anonymous and confidential online text chat with trained listeners. The service is available in 40 languages.

Student Employment and Career Centre

Get on SAIT's My Career Hub — not only will you have access to hundreds of job opportunities but you'll find how-to information on writing your resumé and cover letter, interview strategies, maximizing your LinkedIn profile and more. There's also a resumé template and worksheets for prepping your references and elevator pitch, plus you can book a resumé consultation through email via the booking tool.
