Contract Principles - CLAW 100
Contract Principles introduces individuals involved in construction planning to the concept of contracts in construction. You will become familiar with the requirements for a valid contract, identify standard terms and the Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC 2) form of contract, and learn to recognize when a contract is unenforceable.
This course also introduces non-contractual legal elements such as bonding, construction liens and permitting requirements, which form an important part of project planning.
