Learn to develop and deliver effective high-quality training programs. Topics include the principles of adult learning, teaching techniques, technology integration with classroom management, and curriculum design and development. This program helps prepare you for the Certified Training Practitioner TM (CTP) designation exam. The CTP designation is appropriate for instructors, facilitators, trainers and master trainers.
The courses can be taken in any order and you can build your own schedule. The program's flexibility lets you start whenever you want, taking only the courses that meet your work and career needs. You have up to five years to complete your Certificate of Completion.
There are no entrance requirements for this program. You can begin registering for courses anytime by clicking a course name or calling 403.284.7248. Once you have registered for at least one course and have a SAIT student ID number, consider filling out and submitting the Program Declaration Form to the Office of the Registrar. Contact information for the Office of the Registrar is located in the upper corner of the form.
Course Code Changes
Some course codes for the 2019/20 academic year have changed - for example, PROJ-219 is now PROJ-001. If you have taken a course with the old course code, you will still receive credit for it.
