Admission and registration
This certificate of achievement has been suspended and is no longer accepting new students. If you started the program prior to November 30, 2020, you can continue registering in courses by submitting a free application for Open Studies.
English Proficiency is an institutional requirement at SAIT. It is a student’s responsibility to ensure that they have the necessary pre-requisites for the courses they want to enroll in.
- Minimum of 50% in the following courses or their equivalents:
- English Language Arts 10-1 or 10-2, or successful completion of an English placement test.
How to apply
Step 1: Ensure that you meet all the admission requirements listed above and you meet the prerequisites for courses. If you do not meet these admission requirements, contact your Academic Chair.
Step 3: Find out how to monitor your application status after you apply.
Once you have been admitted to Open Studies, you’ll register for your next course by logging into mySAIT.ca and going to myStudent > Search and Register for Classes > Register for Courses.
