With the buying power of SAIT's alumni, high-valued products and services are made available at a lower group rate through our affinity partnerships.

SAIT and TD Insurance Meloche Monnex (TDIMM) have renewed their partnership for another five years, allowing even more SAIT graduates to experience the value of being a member of the SAIT Alumni Family through meaningful programs and services delivered by SAIT.

Beginning our affinity partnership in 1993, TDIMM has been a long-time and proud champion of SAIT graduates. From offering competitive rates on home (including home, condo and tenant insurance), auto and recreational vehicles and now travel insurance to alumni-exclusive awards to sponsoring alumni-centric programs and events, the 30-year affinity partnership between SAIT and TDIMM has directly impacted the lives of SAIT graduates.

"TDIMM has a long-standing commitment to enriching the lives of our customers, colleagues and communities. And we're proud to support organizations like [SAIT] that nurture progress and provide opportunities for everyone to thrive and succeed in a changing world,” says Amy Desender, TD Insurance Market Lead for Western Region.

“When SAIT alumni taken advantage of the group rates offered through TDIMM, their actions have a cascading effect on their fellow alumni,” says SAIT Alumni Engagement Manager Leanne Makinson. “This collective buying power allows us to develop more meaningful programs directed at the needs and desires of the alumni community.”

Alumni programs

When SAIT alumni sign up for incredible rates on home (which includes condo and tenant), auto and now travel insurance through TDIMM, they not only save themselves money, but they are also helping to support unique programs for current and future alumni. Throughout the partnership, alumni have benefited from industry nights, SAIT Alumni Awards, LINK magazine, the What Works Career Speaker Series and the alumni-exclusive Level Up Alumni Awards.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
