Intro to Presentations
Presentations can be nerve-wracking, especially if you don’t know where to start!
Join our peer writing specialist for a complete introduction to presentations in a comfortable environment—with time to practice! We’ll cover how to structure a presentation, create effective slides, present clearly and professionally, and provide tips for practicing, preparing, and answering questions. This is a new event aimed at beginners or students who need a refresher, but all students are welcome.
Here's how you can make the most of the session:
- Please bring your laptop. This is a bootcamp-style workshop that includes time to practice using the knowledge and skills that are introduced.
- Registration is required.
- Students are expected to attend the full 90 minutes.
- Please arrive a few minutes before the start time.
- Presentation-related handouts are available.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
