Capstone project

Students in the final semester of their program, participate in work-integrated learning opportunities — students work in multi-disciplinary teams on real-life and open-ended challenges under the supervision of a faculty member with industry-experience in your problem area. Students in the capstone project will apply research, critical thinking, communication and presentation skills.

Opportunities for a capstone industry sponsor

  • Expose your organization to our students to build a pipeline of potential new hires
  • Gain a new perspective and discover innovative solutions to your proposed business challenges
  • Make use of the services of a small consulting team
  • Utilize new cutting-edge technology

The commitment

Participating in a capstone project will involve a small time commitment from organizations. Clients should be invested in the proposed topic and should be relevant to the School of ICT's disciplines. Finally, companies should specify their ability to share information and whether or not a non-disclosure agreement would be required.
