SAIT students score at National Skills Competition

SAIT students captured seven medals — two gold, two silver and three bronze — at the 23rd Skills Canada National Competition in Winnipeg, MB last week. These medals are in addition to honours earned in May when seventeen SAIT competitors earned places on Team Alberta by winning their classes at the Skills Canada Alberta competition.
"Hats off to all the competitors and their trainers for their incredible effort and hard work," says Nino Belvedere, SAIT Apprenticeship/Skills Coordinator.
In the national competition, approximately 500 high school and post-secondary competitors from all provinces and territories vied for honours in more than 40 skilled trade and technology categories.
