Time to network!

Program clubs

Program-specific clubs are a great opportunity to connect with your classmates and network with your industry before you graduate.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)

PTK is the largest honour society in higher education and the SAIT chapter has more than 3,000 members. A grade point average (GPA) of 3.8 or higher at the completion of four semester-length courses is required to be eligible for PTK. There is also a one-time membership fee of $90, offering membership at the local, regional and international levels.

School of Business clubs and competitions

The School of Business participates in many competitions and has a wide range of business-related clubs.

Connect with someone 1:1

English Conversation Partners

Expand your global perspective while helping a classmate improve their English or practicing your own. Be an English conversation partner.

Peer Mentorship

Whether you’re starting at SAIT and could use some advice from someone who’s done it all before or looking ahead to graduation and getting hired, being involved with peer mentorship can have a huge impact. Apply now as a mentee or a mentor with Peer Mentorship.

⏱ Application deadline: Friday, Sept. 10

🤝 Meet Victoria — a hospitality student and peer mentor #HereAtSAIT.

Fun. I’m here for fun.

Volunteer at Orientation

One of the best ways to meet other students before classes start is to volunteer at orientation. We’re looking for on-campus wayfinders (don’t worry, we have maps and training for you) on Wednesday, Sept. 1 or Thursday, Sept. 2 from 10:45 am to 2 pm. Email student.engagement@sait.ca if you’re interested.

eGaming League

Get together and play with SAIT’s eGaming league. Join with a group of classmates or as a free agent and get matched up for some friendly competition.

🤝 Meet Matt, one of the senior leaders in the league, then sign up!

Saitsa Clubs

There are countless clubs at SAIT (or you can start your own)! If you’re looking to get out to the mountains this year, check out the Outdoor Adventure Club.

Keep your eye on the ball 😉 More info on intramurals through Athletics and Recreation is coming soon, you can email campus.centre@sait.ca if you’d like to play.

Seek out social spaces

SAIT Residence

Find a ready-made community in our SAIT Residence — make new friends, participate in residence life, connect with a Residence Advisor, plus it’s all just steps away from class.

Grab a coffee (there’s food too!) and get to know your classmates at Saitsa’s on-campus Odyssey café, plus there’s a beautiful patio while the weather’s warm.

Zen Den

Relax and recharge in the Zen Den in the Stan Grad Centre.

The Gateway

Saitsa’s on-campus pub has a full menu, happy hour and live shows. The Gateway will be open by early October for this 2021/22 school year.
