The women of Applied Research and Innovation Services (ARIS) at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) are celebrating SAIT's 100th anniversary with a series of events for women pursuing science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and trades careers.

We invite you to connect in a special way on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at SAIT's Chinook Lodge, in the Senator Burns Building, room NN108. REGISTER NOWAt this event, we will have an expert panel which will introduce you to:

  • The women of ARIS
  • The experts of STEM and trades from an indigenous group
  • The resources available at SAIT and in Calgary
  • And much more!

Hear, firsthand, the experiences of indigenous women who are SAIT alumni. And, share in a smudging ceremony, a lot of wisdom, some laughter, and light food (with an indigenous twist.)

Whether you are staff, alumni, in industry, or a student, join us to network and encourage more women to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields, as well as trades. We encourage both men and women to sign up.

RSVP NOW! Space is limited, so register early. Registration ends at the end of day Jan. 24, 2017.
