Peter May has more than 20 years of experience in the chemical, agribusiness, post-secondary and energy sectors, leading in the areas of health, safety and environment, risk management and sustainability. He has a proven track record of improving performance, reducing risk and maintaining a reputation in complex environments.
Peter has been a board member of the Foothills Acoustic Music Institute for the past 10 years. He previously served as a director of the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists and a director of the Canadian Prairie and Northern Section of the Air and Waste Management Association. He holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Environmental Design in Environmental Science and is also a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and Professional Biologist (PBiol).
Peter is active in the Calgary arts community, including a volunteer leadership role at the Calgary Folk Music Festival; an organization he has been a part of for nearly 20 years.
