Robert has been delivering carpentry courses to a diverse group of students at SAIT for many years. With relentless positivity and a forward-thinking approach, he helps to redefine how a learner successfully achieves their goals.
Robert knows that before anyone can build anything, they must construct confidence within themselves only attained through support, iteration, and knowledge.

Fun facts
Robert has been involved in the arts community across Canada for 25 years, and coaches Little League baseball.
A curious and intrepid soul, Robert is in the perpetual process of accumulating research for his autobiography (working title: The First Cut is the Deepest: Why You Should Always Measure Twice).

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
