Laureen Regan is a Calgary-based entrepreneur and international trade leader with more than 30 years of experience in business growth, economic development, and stakeholder engagement. She is President and CEO of Boom Group Inc., a member rewards and loyalty platform she has led since 2013, growing its membership from 3,000 to more than 400,000 while maintaining a 90 per cent renewal rate.
A dedicated champion of Alberta–Ireland relations, Laureen is the Founder and President of the Ireland-Alberta Trade Association, which she established in 2010 to strengthen bilateral trade across sectors including technology, agri-food, renewable energy, life sciences, financial services, and advanced manufacturing. From 2015 to 2024 she served as Ireland's Honorary Vice Consul for Trade and Investment, appointed by the Irish Ambassador to Canada to build cross-border partnerships and investment opportunities. Earlier in her career, she founded and led Regan Productions Inc., a strategic media and communications firm serving government and corporate clients across the energy, natural resources, education, and healthcare sectors for more than 15 years.
A proud SAIT graduate with a Diploma in Applied Arts, Laureen also holds a Diploma in International Trade from the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) and is the author of Networking Mastery: The Essential Guide to Networking Success (2024). She brings extensive governance, strategic leadership, and international relations experience to the Board.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
