Applicants will be contacted regarding the outcome of their proposal.

Projects selected for funding

Successful proposals will support initiatives that enhance the student experience, contribute to the SAIT community and align with the purpose of the Opportunities Fund.

The Opportunities Fund is stewarded to ensure flexible donations from alumni, employees and partners are allocated responsibly and in alignment with SAIT's mission and institutional priorities.

What makes a strong proposal?

Strong proposals clearly explain the initiative, what it aims to accomplish and how it will benefit students or the broader SAIT community. Proposals should be thoughtfully planned with defined outcomes and demonstrate alignment with the purpose of the Opportunities Fund.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
