In this online code update training course, with the guidance of an instructor, you’ll focus on the key updates in the 2024 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (twenty-sixth edition). You’ll review new rules, revisions, and calculation changes, ensuring you can apply them correctly in real-world scenarios. This course consists of four modules, with a short quiz at the end of each.
Designed for Alberta-based Master Electricians, Electrical Group A Safety Codes Officers (SCOs), Journeyperson Electricians, Engineers and industry professionals, this course helps you stay compliant, avoid costly mistakes, and work with confidence under the latest regulations.
This course is ideal if you:
- require a Statement of Completion to update your Master Electrician certification or your Electrical Group A Safety Codes Officer certification
- need to stay compliant with the latest Canadian Electrical Code updates
- want a clear, structured breakdown of new rules and revisions
- work in electrical design, installation, or inspection and must apply the latest calculations accurately.
Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be able to:
- identify rule changes in the 2024 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (twenty-sixth edition)
- describe new rules in the 2024 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (twenty-sixth edition).
