Overview

Storytelling has long been a cornerstone of effective leadership. Want to learn how to craft and deliver compelling stories that resonate with your team?

This two-day, in-person course builds on your learnings from LDSH 041 - Leading Self and subsequent courses in our new Emerging Leaders Certificate of Completion. In this final course, you'll discover how to harness the timeless power of storytelling to inspire, connect, and lead with purpose.

Led by an expert instructor at our conveniently located SAIT Calgary campus, this dynamic course will explore how storytelling can enhance leadership and workplace dynamics. You’ll dive into story structure, key storytelling considerations, and how to tailor your stories to meet workplace constraints and requirements. Additionally, you’ll learn to evaluate different workplace mediums for delivering your message effectively. Through engaging discussions and practical exercises, you'll craft and deliver your own workplace stories and offer targeted feedback to help others refine theirs. Beyond the classroom, you’ll also gain access to supplementary materials through your online portal to further enrich your learning experience.
