Overview
Supervisory Skills explores the mindset that is required to supervise a team, and how a supervisor's responsibilities differ from those of a front-line worker. This SAIT Micro-credential course provides a useful toolkit of skills for the new supervisor or for someone about to become one.
Traits of successful supervisors are examined, along with skills such as holding team members accountable, managing accordingly, workload organization, problem-solving and decision making, giving useful feedback and learning how to communicate clearly. We will practice these skills and you'll leave with the confidence needed to step into your role effectively.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
