Overview
In this course, you'll explore advanced video production concepts and techniques through a hands-on approach to creating video projects.
Building on the techniques and terminology learned in VDEO-005 Video Production 1: Fundamentals, you’ll explore the operation of professional cameras in both single and multi-cam productions and bring together the elements of lighting, audio, video and production management into a unified production.
You must complete VDEO-005 Video Production 1: Fundamentals prior to taking this course.
Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll be able to:
- set up and operate a camera
- configure lighting for video
- design and follow the production process of pre-production, production and post-production
- operate a video switcher for live, recorded or streamed events
- edit a video to create a final product with cohesive flow
- utilize a streaming server.

- Cellphone or video camera capable of shooting HD video 1920x1080 @ 29.97 (30) fps with audio
- Pair of headphones with a standard 1/8-inch adapter
- USB stick (minimum 32GB)
- Portable hard drive (SSD preferred)
