Need more practice? The Magnetic Particle Inspection/Magnetic Testing Review is a refresher course designed to reinforce key theoretical concepts and practical techniques in preparation for the NRCan CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Level 2 practical certification exam.
Increase your confidence and reinforce your MPI/MT skills using specialized equipment in a safe, supervised lab environment. The course includes a guided activity book to walk you through the method, with instructors available to provide mentorship and support as needed.
You may use all or part of the 3-hour lab time for focused practice.
You must be at least 18 years old to take this course.
We recommend that you have completed an NRCan-approved course or training in the NDT Magnetic Particle Inspection/Magnetic Testing method before registering for this course.

SAIT is an authorized examination centre for NDT certification and offers testing services for government examinations.

Registration closes seven days before the start date for on-campus, online scheduled, and blended courses, and one day before the start date for online self-paced courses.

Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be able to self-print a proof of completion document from your Continuing Education student account.

Textbook and reading list
Included in the purchase of this course, you'll receive a guided student activity book distributed in class.
SAIT will provide the NDT MPI/MT equipment and any additional supplies needed.
Additional supplies
You'll need to bring/wear CSA-approved steel-toed boots during lab time.
