Overview

Develop the technical skills and exam strategies you need to succeed on your National Alliance of Canadian Optician Regulators (NACOR) licensing exam.

This comprehensive 3-hour course targets the key competencies you'll be tested on, focusing on critical measurement and verification skills. You'll work through five essential units that mirror the exam structure, ensuring you're ready to demonstrate your expertise under exam conditions.

You'll review dispensing eyewear fundamentals, including accurate measurements for lens ordering, frame fitting, and repairs, as well as lens finishing calculations such as box measurements, minimum blank sizes, and decentration formulas. Finally, you'll strengthen your quality control abilities through lens verification theory and extensive lensometry practice for both verification and duplication of all eyeglass lens types.

This course will help you establish the technical expertise you need to excel on the NACOR exam and begin your professional optical career.
