Overview
If you're looking to work with high-pressure boilers, our Fourth Class Power Engineering Part B course is a great starting point.
Successful completion of Part A and B theory courses prepares you to write the government exams in Alberta. You're required to seek work experience either in the workplace or by taking PWEN 005 SAIT lab.
If you're located outside of Alberta, please contact your provincial boilers branch to ensure this course provides the correct work experience credits you need.
This course has an exam that must be proctored. Details will be provided once you being classes.
You must have completed PWEN 002 Fourth Class Power Engineering Part A to register for this course. You are required to show proof of completion by emailing conedadvising@sait.ca.
It is recommended you have also completed a minimum of Grade 11 Math, Physics, and English.

After you've completed this course
Upon successful completion of this non-credit course, you’ll receive an electronic copy of your official transcript. You’ll also be able to self-print a proof of completion document from your Continuing Education student account.
