Overview
Explore the world of hospitality, tourism and marketing while earning post-secondary credit in high school. This dual-credit program introduces you to how the travel, hotel, restaurant and events industries work, and how brands create memorable guest experiences.
Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, you’ll build skills in customer service, communication, experience design and marketing. This program is a great starting point for students interested in people-focused careers and connects directly to SAIT’s Hospitality and Tourism Management pathways.

Students can accelerate their careers with SAIT's Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management degree program. This unique 2+2 program is designed for graduates of SAIT’s Hospitality & Tourism Management diploma programs.
Admission requirements
In order to be successful in this SAIT dual-credit offering, students should be in their grade 11 or 12 years of high school and need to be on track to successfully pass the following courses or equivalents with an overall average of at least 50%:
- Math 30-1, Math 30-2 or Pure Math 30 or 60% in Applied Math 30, and
- English Language Arts 30-1 or 60% in English Language Arts 30-2.
There may be other pre-requisite or co-requisites required by the school board for admission into this dual-credit program. Check with your local school board for further information.
