International camp details
Our international camp package is a two-week comprehensive experience designed for international campers (ages 14 to 17) to experience Canadian culture, practice their English language skills, interact with domestic campers, and sample the variety of programs that SAIT has to offer.
Throughout the program, campers will be introduced to career pathways, post-secondary options in Canada, and important information needed to be an International Student in Calgary. Camp experiences may include: trades, technology, business, science, budgeting, post-secondary prep, and more.
Cultural exchange is an important component for international campers, throughout the program they will interact and participate within domestic summer camp programming.
Calgary is a vibrant city, located in the heart of the prairies and a short distance from the Rocky Mountains. Campers will have the opportunity to experience what both Calgary and Alberta has to offer.
Our international camp program costs $2,900 CAD+GST per week per camper.
CLB Level 5/6 is the minimum requirement to participate in this program.
Cost includes:
- 15 hours of English language classes
- Accommodations at SAIT Residence (four-bedroom unit with bathroom units)
- A meal plan (three meals daily)
- Daytime and evening activities and excursions
- Transportation to and from all activities and excursions
- Admission fees for all scheduled activities and excursions
- Health insurance
- Airport pick up and drop off
- Full-day weekend excursions
To promote a fully immersive learning environment for international campers, SAIT Summer Camps staff provide supervision at all times.
Cost does not included:
- Airfare
- Personal expenses/spending money
- Laundry fees (laundry facilities in residence)
- Any extra days in residence
- Special transfer requests
- Visa applications or associated costs in obtaining a travel visa

Registration
Our international recruitment team or your education agent (if you have one), will be able to assist you with the registration process.
Registration for summer 2026 camps are now closed.
Sign-up to attend
During the registration process, you will be required to provide:
- contact information
- medical information (allergies, medical conditions and required medication)
All forms must be completed and signed during the registration process. A deposit of $1,000 is required to secure admission.
You will be able to upload a copy of your approved Visa (if applicable) and flight confirmations once your registration has has been confirmed. Flight confirmations are required no later than one month before the program start date.
Cancellation and refund policy
In the event of a visa refusal or any other unprecedented circumstances, a full refund of the deposit will be issued minus a $250 CAD administrative fee, upon submission of official proof before the program start date.
Full tuition must be paid no later than one month before the program start date
