In this in-class seminar, you’ll build a strong foundation in strategy and decision-making by examining both B2B and B2C marketing and how marketing shapes supply management and broader business strategies. You’ll gain insights into business environments, consumer and business behaviour, and marketing research while learning how to apply the marketing mix and develop an abbreviated marketing plan. As a result, you’ll have the knowledge and skills you need to strengthen your marketing skills and make more informed business decisions.
This course is ideal if you:
- want a clear understanding of how marketing drives business success and influences supply management
- want to hone your knowledge of the 4 Ps of marketing: product, pricing, place, and promotion
- want to improve your ability to analyze competitors, respond to market opportunities and challenges, and define target audiences.
Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be able to:
- understand the role and importance of marketing in a business organization
- identify opportunities and challenges for an organization in the business environment
- identify potential markets for a business’s offering
- understand how the marketing mix is applied to target market segments
