Overview

Delegation, the act of assigning tasks and projects, is a useful tool that is often unused. Effective delegation can combat an ever-increasing workload, increase productivity, and benefit the organization and team members.

This course aims to make delegation an easy tool to implement and use. You'll learn why many don't delegate and the ramifications of that, while also providing you the opportunity to practice delegation skills to ensure success for both the delegator and the delegate. You'll also learn essential people skills for building trust in the workplace and increasing employee confidence.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
