About the camp
Build on the welding skills you learned in Welding Introduction and apply them to fabricate a series of more complex projects. Work on a variety of projects while learning proper use of various hand tools.
Notes and requirements
Prerequisite:
Dress code requirements:
- All campers are required to wear closed-toed shoes with a good tread; no sandals or open-toe shoes are permitted in the shop. Steel-toe boots are preferred but not required.
- Long pants are required to be worn in the shop; no shorts, capris, low-cut tops, or loose clothing that could get caught in power tools.
- Clothes that can get dirty are preferred.
- Campers with long hair should ensure that they bring hair elastics to tie back their hair.
Safety:
- Eye and face protection will be provided.
- Campers are required to adhere to the safety precautions outlined by the instructors; safety infractions may lead to removal from the program.
Campers will bring home oversized items.
