Overview
Microsoft SharePoint is a platform designed to collaborate and allow users to use tools known as web parts and apps to create and store documents, create lists, use content management to control content types and to use workflows to enhance corporate processes.
This course is intended for a site owner who is required to maintain and administer the internal corporate site(s) and needs to manage the creation of the site and all its parts. As a site owner, you'll create site pages, web parts, apps and handle the permissions for each other users and groups. Your responsibilities include managing content types, creating term store management terms, creating workflows as well as managing guest users.
Upon completion of this course, you'll be able to:
- create a SharePoint site and subsite
- create document libraries and control your versions, create custom columns and views and understand the content approval process
- create and maintain custom lists, calendars and surveys
- create site pages and embed modern web parts
- assign permissions to groups so they can access your documents
- integrate SharePoint calendar with Outlook and document libraries with a Teams channel.
