Overview

This 15-hour virtual instructor-led course explores data analytics with Power AI, an integral component of Microsoft's cutting-edge Power Platform suite. You'll learn to analyze your internal data comprehensively and make strategic, well-informed decisions for your organization.

You'll cover how to extract valuable insights by seamlessly blending internal data with external industry benchmarks and competitor information. This course develops your problem-solving acumen and helps you master complex calculations.

A solid foundation in Excel functions, formulas, filters and pivot tables is recommended for this course. While expertise in the power query add-on for Excel is advantageous, it's not mandatory. Applied learning in this course requires the latest version of Power BI to be installed on your system.

Upon completing this course, you'll be able to:

  • explore Power BI’s environment by navigating the environment and discussing its functionality 
  • enable seamless and efficient data integration within Power BI
  • use Power Query Editor in Power BI to streamline data transformation and preparation
  • produce a robust and optimized data model with DAX in Power BI
  • create compelling and informative data visualizations in Power BI reports
  • develop interactive data visualizations in Power BI
  • publish Power BI reports and dashboards to the Power BI web service.
