Overview
This course provides you with an overview of pumps used in industrial facilities. You'll learn about the two basic types of pumps, positive displacement and dynamic pumps. This is an opportunity for you to develop your understanding of operation components and principles for various pumping equipment. You'll also gain knowledge of the selection of pump types for specific applications.

Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be able to describe:
- pump types found in industrial plants
- positive displacement pumps
- the operation of various reciprocating pumps and injectors
- the construction and operation of several different types of rotary pumps
- dynamic pumps.
