Overview
If you're a cross connection control specialist or tester, keeping your certification current is essential for maintaining compliance, protecting water systems, and advancing your career. SAIT’s Cross Connection Recertification course simplifies the process by covering everything you need in one, 9-hour combined review and exam day.
In this course you’ll keep pace with emerging testing practices and regulatory changes while retaining valid certification. You'll get hands-on training and practical experience in testing and troubleshooting backflow prevention assemblies, ensuring you're ready to take your recertification exam with confidence.
Upon completion, you'll walk away with a renewed certification, up-to-date expertise, and the confidence to apply best practices in the field.
This course is ideal if you:
- are mandated to recertify your status as a Cross-Connection Control Specialist
- are looking to enhance testing and troubleshooting capabilities in backflow prevention assemblies.
To be successful in this course, we recommend you:
- have an active Cross Connection Control Specialist (CCCS) certification
- are registering for this course in the WCA AWWA’s permitted recertifying period (any time in the 12 months before the expiry date of your existing certification.)
- If your expiry date is less than 12 months from now and you need to maintain certification, you must retake the full CCCA training course. Our PLBG 103 - Cross Connection Control Specialist course can help.
Upon successful completion of this course, you'll be able to:
- test reduced pressure backflow assembly
- troubleshoot backflow prevention assemblies.
