Overview
Construction Estimating Tools and Documents expands your construction estimating knowledge by focusing on the tools, documentation, and cost components used to develop accurate estimates.
In this course, you’ll explore key cost elements such as labour, equipment, materials, and overheads, and learn how they influence project budgets. You’ll then explore digital tools used in the estimating process and learn how to select appropriate software for different estimating tasks. The course also covers bid documentation, document management, and interpreting scheduling charts, helping you understand how estimates connect to broader project planning and delivery.
The course features interactive, self-paced online learning with practical tools and resources you can apply immediately on the job. You’ll gain hands-on experience using Bluebeam construction software through coursework and assessments, with added support from weekly virtual drop-in sessions with your instructor and peers.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid grasp of budget estimating, elemental estimating, and the effective use of digital estimating tools.
