Overview
Elevate your leadership impact as you integrate your skills, solve real aviation challenges, and lead strategically in Aviation Strategic Planning and Team Engagement. In this final course, you bring together all competencies developed throughout your Aviation Leadership journey and prepare to lead aviation teams with clarity, cohesion, and strategic intent.
To support this learning, the course is delivered online over four weeks and combines independent study with a mandatory two-hour virtual group session every week. You’ll work through final integration challenges with peers, learning from each other’s project work and operational contexts.
You'll explore advanced team engagement techniques that strengthen safety culture, operational performance, and organizational learning in diverse, multicultural environments. Through applied leadership planning, evidence-based engagement strategies, and real-world aviation scenarios, you'll refine how you motivate teams, support high performance, and guide cultural transformation. You'll also examine how strategic leadership synthesizes communication, intercultural competence, change management, and succession planning to address complex aviation challenges across Canada's commercial, corporate, and Indigenous aviation contexts.
As you finalize your Leadership Engine Blueprint, you’ll synthesize all four components — your Leadership Command Dashboard, Aviation Leadership Toolkit, Succession and Mentorship Framework, and the integrated solution you’ve developed throughout the program. You’ll refine your propelling question one last time, using the leadership frameworks and methods gained across the certificate to shape a cohesive, actionable outcome supported by your AI CoPilot as a thinking partner.
Your Aviation Leadership journey culminates in a presentation to aviation industry leaders, where you share your Leadership Engine Blueprint and demonstrate how your integrated approach, strategies, and thinking contribute to operational improvement, workforce sustainability, and the advancement of aviation leadership in Canada.
