The website is facilitated and managed by the Digital Division within the Marketing Department; however, it is the responsibility of the institution and all SAIT employees to ensure that information is accurate and relevant to users.

Background

SAIT’s official website, sait.ca, is designed to support recruitment and serve student needs while demonstrating SAIT’s position as a global leader in applied education.

The primary target audience for the site is future, recently accepted, and current domestic and international credit and continuing education students and apprentices. Secondary audiences include alumni, business and industry partners, youth, parents and influencers, prospective employees, and the media.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
