Content contributors are SAIT employees who can edit specific pages on the website. They have access to specific pages or folders related to their department and role.
Site administrators from the Marketing team also manage the site and support content contributors as needed.
Contributors can:
- edit, remove, reorder or add text, links, buttons, tables and images to existing pages
- edit, remove, reorder or add blocks
- remove or add PDFs
- create new story pages (if required)
- create new event pages (if required)
Contributors cannot:
- create new folders or pages (other than stories or events)
- change the name (and URL) of a page
- change folder structure
- change the overarching design of the page (CSS)
- publish pages without moving them through a workflow approval process
- edit credit program pages (content comes directly from Acalog, the Office of the Registrar and Finance)
- create or change navigational menus

Become a content contributor
Contributors are expected to be active within the CMS platform every other month at a minimum. Contributors should be familiar with basic principles in writing for the web and SEO, and be very comfortable with SaaS platforms.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
