Natoysopoyiis 25th Anniversary Open House
In September, we’re celebrating 25 years of SAIT’s Indigenous student support centre! Since 2001, Natoysopoyiis (formerly Chinook Lodge) has been a home away from home for Indigenous learners — a space for connection, community and support.
Join us to celebrate this incredible milestone on Monday, Sept. 21 by dropping into Natoysopoyiis (NN108, Senator Burns building) between 10 am and 2 pm to connect with the SAIT employees committed to supporting Indigenous student success, enjoy some popcorn and learn how to make a beaded lanyard.
Everyone is welcome! Bring your coffee buddy or the whole team to check out the space and congratulate the Natoysopoyiis team on 25 years.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
