Sexual Violence Awareness Month - Intimate Parter Violence Workshop
Sexual Violence Awareness Month is recognized each May in Alberta.
We are pleased to welcome Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) to SAIT to facilitate an information session and workshop on Intimate Partner Violence (also known as domestic violence and/or dating violence). The session is open to all SAIT students, employees and community members to register for.
The session will be held in MB210, Stan Grad Centre.
Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
