Exploring Aviation Day
Exploring Aviation Day is a one-day event designed to introduce junior high students to the exciting world of aviation! Through a series of interactive, hands-on activities, students will explore the wide range of programs and career paths available in the aviation industry.
Participants will rotate through engaging stations that highlight different aspects of aviation, including aircraft maintenance, structures, avionics, and drone technology. During lunch, students will have the unique opportunity to connect with aviation professionals at our industry showcase, hosted right in the hangar!

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
