Machinist Technician

Orientation date: Not applicable for winter 2019.

Required personal protective equipment: CSA-approved steel-toe boots and safety glasses are required on the first day of class.

Preparation courses: It is recommended students take PREP 100 and ETHI 110. Learn more about these courses.

Required textbooks: Not applicable for winter 2019.

Anticipated supply costs: Approximately $200 for PPE.

Mechanical Engineering Technology

Orientation date: Friday, Jan. 4, 2019

Preparation courses: It is recommended students take PREP 100 and ETHI 100. Learn more about these courses.

Required textbooks: The winter 2019 booklist will be available on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018. We recommend you wait to buy your textbooks until your first few days of classes.

Non-Destructive Testing Foundations

Orientation date: Not applicable for winter 2019.

Required personal protective equipment (PPE): Steel-toe boots and safety glasses. We recommend not purchasing PPE until after you start the program; we will discuss industry-approved PPE in class.

Preparation courses: It is recommended students take PREP 100 and ETHI 110. Learn more about these courses.

Required textbooks: Not applicable for winter 2019.

Anticipated supply costs: Approximately $200 for PPE.

Welding Engineering Technology

Orientation date: Friday, Jan. 4, 2019

Required personal protective equipment (PPE): Steel-toe boots, coveralls, gloves, and welding helmet. We recommend not purchasing PPE until after you start the program. We will discuss industry-approved PPE in class.

Preparation courses: It is recommended students take PREP 100 and ETHI 110. Learn more about these courses.

Required textbooks: The winter 2019 booklist will be available on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018. We recommend you wait to buy your textbooks until your first few days of classes. 

Anticipated supply costs: Approximately $300 - $1,000 for PPE.
