Select your program below to see your orientation date, any additional supplies you may need, required or recommended preparation courses and who to contact if you have questions.

Bachelor of Applied Technology Petroleum Engineering 

Orientation date: Friday, Jan. 4, 2019

Preparation courses: It is recommended students take PREP 100, SAFE 160 and ETHI 110. Learn more about these courses.

Required textbooks: The winter 2019 booklist will be available on Monday, Dec. 10. We recommend you wait to buy your textbooks until your first few days of classes.

Chemical Engineering Technology

Orientation date: TBD for 2019

Required equipment/tools: You'll require a scientific calculator capable of performing linear regression.

Required personal protective equipment (PPE): PPE is required in various labs. You'll need a lab coat and CSA-approved safety glasses (with uvex and side shields) by the first day of class to enter the chemistry labs.

Preparation courses: It is recommended students take PREP 100, SAFE 100, Math 123 and ETHI 110. Learn more about these courses.

Required textbooks: TBD for 2019. We recommend you wait to buy your textbooks until your first few days of classes.

Orientation date: TBD for 2019

Required equipment/tools: You'll require a scientific calculator capable of performing linear regression.

You should have these available for the first week of classes. Some retailers offer a discount to students, so you may want to wait until you get your SAIT ID card (available at the end of July) to make your purchase.
