Email, Wireless and Remote Access
All students receive a SAIT email address. Your email account will be activated approximately 10 days before your classes begin. Your email account will be deactivated when you finish your studies.
- Full-time students: About 150 days after your program ends
- Continuing education students: About 30 days after your course ends·
- Apprentices: About 30 days after technical training ends
To access your SAIT email, login to your mySAIT account and click the email icon. If there is more than one student with your first and last name, then you can check your SAIT email address by logging into mySAIT, and selecting View your personal email address on the mySAIT tab.
Your SAIT email can also be accessed through the Microsoft Office portal from an Internet browser. To find out how, click on Connecting to your SAIT Email through Office 365.
You can also configure your smartphone to connect to your SAIT email account. View the instructions below according to the type of user you are and the device you have.

SAIT provides wireless connectivity to current students and staff. View instructions on how to connect to wireless from a computer or a smartphone device.

The eduroam wireless network service (www.eduroam.org) provides students, staff and faculty with free roaming wireless access at participating institutions. The eduroam system "is developed for the internal research and education community."

To connect to the SAIT network remotely, you will need to have the Cisco AnyConnect software installed on your computer. Please refer to Installing SAIT VPN on a Computer for instructions on how to install this application.
After the application is installed, you will need to launch the application and connect to the SAIT network every time you need access to SAIT resources from a remote location.
