Take an Art Break at Your Library

Exterior of Stan Grad Centre

The Reg Erhardt Library is currently featuring an exhibition which showcases the work of Larissa Tiggelers. "Larissa Tiggelers: something now as different than before" presents a series of abstract paintings which feature hard-edged shapes that play with colour and spatial perspective. She uses the elements of shape, form, colour and texture as tools to manipulate and break up space.

This exhibit is part of The Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) Travelling Exhibition Program. It is currently part of a touring art program developed by the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie and is financially supported by AFA with the mandate to ensure that Albertans have the opportunity to enjoy art collections and the work of contemporary Alberta artists.

Come to library and take a bit of time to view this sampling of Tiggeler's work and her thought processes. This collection is available for viewing until the end of September.
