Work with a wide variety of pneumatic, electronic and microcomputer instruments used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and chemical composition. In this program, you will learn to install, maintain and repair the measuring and control instruments used in industrial and commercial processing and manufacturing. Working conditions in this field can change dramatically from one job to another, and you
should be prepared to lift heavy objects.
Apprentices may be eligible for financial support.
To enter an apprenticeship, you must have the educational qualifications required for the trade to which you apply. Entrance requirements are monitored by Alberta and Industry Training.
