Seven steps to prepare for program advising

  1. Review our A - Z program list to find your area of interest.

  2. Discover the resources available to narrow down the programs you're interested in. If you're unsure which career path is right for you, then SAIT offers Career Counselling Services (fee), or the Alberta Government hosts a free Career Information Hotline: 1.800.661.3753 or visit the Alberta Learning Information Service.

  3. Curious about the average salary for a SAIT program? Check out the SAIT Graduate Employment Statistics. The Government of Alberta's OCCinfo lists over 500 occupational profiles.

  4. Choose a maximum of two SAIT programs that you'd like to apply for.

  5. Familiarize yourself with the admission requirements for your program of choice. If you took high school courses out-of-province, then view the course equivalency chart to ensure your courses are equivalent to Alberta's high school curriculum.

  6. Review the How to Apply tutorial for details about the SAIT full-time program admission/application process.

  7. If you are a new to Canada, please view this information for permanent residents to help you get started.
