Student Calling Program
The SAIT Student Calling Program is a team of 30 students that connect with alumni over the phone to hear about their experience at SAIT, update them on current events and campus developments, answer questions, and seek financial assistance in support of SAIT and its students. (View Student Caller profiles)
Each year, SAIT students call alumni and friends of SAIT to raise support for programs such as student awards, the I.G. Lewis Student Emergency Fund, and the SAIT Opportunities Fund. (See more on our Ways to Give page.)
Our purpose is not only to present our alumni with the opportunity to positively impact the lives of SAIT students through a donation but to also connect with them and remind them of their time at SAIT.
Join SAIT's Student Calling Program
Our student callers are the public voice and ambassadors of SAIT. We are looking for mature professional individuals with good communication skills and a passion for SAIT to help us raise funds for their fellow students.
The average caller makes between 150 and 200 calls per shift. It is a tough job which requires a strong command of the most up-to-date information about SAIT. Callers are sociable, able to think quickly, able to talk to a wide variety of people from every ethnic background and have a touch of salesmanship.
