Connecting with the President

The annual Presiden's Dinner is an opportunity for SAIT President and CEO, Dr. David Ross to recognize some of SAIT's top student leaders and industry partners.

"An agile SAIT is a relevant SAIT."

That's the message SAIT President and CEO, Dr. David Ross, delivered to a gathering of 300 supporters, friends and donors at the annual President's Dinner on Thursday, March 8.

"We're preparing students for jobs that don't exist yet and creating resilient SAIT alumni to ensure their success in a changing work environment," said Dr. Ross. "To do this, we need to stay agile. SAIT's success over the last one hundred plus years is, in part, thanks to our ability to maintain relevance."

Dr. Ross invited industry and community leaders to stay connected with SAIT and contribute to our success.

"To stay ahead of the curve, we need the voice of industry. We will continue to grow opportunities for collaboration and innovation; preparing our students for what's next with thought-leadership, research and insight from our partners."

Guests got an "up close and personal" opportunity to experience the talents and skills of 200 SAIT students during the dinner, including School of Hospitality and Tourism chefs-in-training and servers who prepared them a  gourmet five-course meal, as well as volunteers and award recipients who contributed their time and talents to the special event.
